THE QUIET TEACHERS

Becoming A Student Of Your Life

Who you have been, and who you may have had to be, may not necessarily be the same as who you are here to be.

Inside and all around each one of us exist the Quiet Teachers, hidden messengers offering opportunities for our self-understanding and direction toward our truest selves. They are present in everyday encounters, bodily sensations, thoughts and beliefs, and the people we meet.

In this deeply meaningful and engaging book, Ally Bogard, acclaimed facilitator, teacher, and coach, shares the tools we need to access these teachers and benefit from their immense wisdom. The Quiet Teachers is an essential modern guidebook, complete with practices and self-reflection tools, that leads us back to who we really are and who we’re meant to be.

Thoughtfully written with excellent practice activities

It’s organized in many short topics that don’t need to be read in any particular order, with a thought-provoking lesson, followed by a practice session of some sort of activation, reflection, or activity. There is so much depth to this book!"

Simply Perfect

A Beautifully written, perfectly sized, inspiring book for all. Loved the exercises in this book, and how it made me take a step back and listen to all the little teachers that are working really hard to get through to me. After reading, I shared this with my mom, who is going through some health struggles. She was encouraged by this book, and it helped to shift her attitude from "why me?", to "what can I learn from this?". Perfect for anyone who questions their life path, or just wants some reassurance that life is truly beautiful, even during those tough times.

Thought Provoking

I ordered The Quiet Teachers: Becoming a Student of Your Life because I find myself in another phase of life, one that is not monopolized by a career.
As someone who is almost afraid of learning for fear of failure, this book has given me a new perspective. It has motivated me to learn more about myself, after years of going through the motions just to get through each day. To live a slower lifestyle and focus on who I am, not who society expects me to be. To be mindful and present. It is truly a journey in self-discovery.

I recommend this book to anyone who is looking to find deeper meaning in their life, as well as improve their mental well-being. We are only on this Earth for a short time, and it’s all too easy to let life pass you by.
